New Encounter with Ecological and Intellectual Environments

1)We came here with little knowledge of the region of Aix-en-Provence with respect to ecological and intellectual circumstances. To our surprise, Aix-en-Provence is so nice to live in terms of weather, air, water, traffic, and cultural heritages. Thus, we had some cultural excursions within the city as well as such regions as Luberon, Lyon, Arles, and Mountain St. Victoire.

2)Furthermore, we found that AMU had developed a distinctive taste in academic research in the field of economic thought with a broader interdisciplinary approach. We have been delighted to find it. Frustrated by the difficulties in communication with the ‘normal’ economists specialized in macro- and micro-economics, we have been happy to pursue dialogue with the economists at AMU for the common interests in justice, welfare economics, egalitarian liberalism, and so on.
